€19.6 billion to be spent on Employment Affairs and Social Protection in 2014

New spending reductions limited to €226 million rather than €440 million

Additional €30 million from fraud and control initiatives

No reductions in weekly social welfare payments for all 1.45 million current beneficiaries

No new changes to Child Benefit

No changes in the Fuel Allowance, Free Travel, Free TV Licence, Electricity/Gas Allowance and Over 80 Allowance
