The International Employment Services Unit of the Department of Social Protection, together with Employment Services (North) Dublin is working in association with Blanchardstown Centre and Fingal Dublin Chamber to organise a Regional/National/European and International Employment and Advice Fair.

The event is aimed at Irish and EU workers looking for jobs locally and throughout Europe. 

It will be attended by local employers and locally based Employment Advice Agencies.  EURES Advisers, who are specialists in international recruitment, from European Member State countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom, will also be at the event to advise those interested in employment and career development options in these countries.  

The following vacancies will be available at the event in Ireland: Java Developers, Net Developers, Testing Leads, Functional Design, SAP (BW) Contractors, Multi Lingual Sales, Software Developers, Video Games Testers, Customer Support/Technical Support, Retail Sales, Sales Representatives, Automotive Operators, Photography Support Professionals, Warehouse Operatives, HGV Drivers, Hospitality, Catering, etc. 

And in Europe & abroad: Construction- : Pipefitters, Plumbers, Metal Fabricators, Metal Machinist, Building Construction Workers, Electricians, General Fitters, Quantity Surveyors, Welders, Sales Representatives (Industrial Products), Engineers, Engineering Technologists, Equipment Hire Manager, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanics, Building Associates;

IT: - IT Specialists, Health Care: Hospital Nurses, Laboratory Nurses, Radiographers, Psychologists, Dentists, etc.

Other: - Truck Drivers, Diesel Motor Mechanic, Panel Beaters and English Teachers. 

In addition, Education & Training Providers together with Irish Advice and Welfare Agencies will be represented including those dealing with Taxation and Business Start-Up. 

The event will take place in the Blanchardstown Centre and will be open on Thursday 1 st March from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm, and Friday 2 nd March from 12.00 noon to 5.00 pm.

The Department of Social Protection, Employment Services and International Employment Services is committed to working closely with other State Agencies and organisations to provide the most effective integrated service to individuals who are seeking to explore their future career options.

International Employment Services is part of a European Commission network called EURES (EURopean Employment Services). EURES Advisers are trained specialists who provide information and guidance to jobseekers and employers interested in the European labour market. The EURES service is free of charge.
