FEAD Ireland - The European Fund for Aid to the Most Deprived

Introduction

The European Fund for Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) is designed to support Member States in addressing the basic needs of the most deprived people in our community. The Programme is for people without access to income or living in very poor circumstances. The Programme will work through not-for-profit bodies to fund the purchase of food and basic material assistance. The distribution of this Fund in Ireland will be known as FEAD Ireland

Public consultation on the European support fund for the benefit of the most deprived persons

The Department of Social Protection, the managing authority for the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD), wishes to inform that, in accordance with the Fund Regulation No 223/2014 article 17, the European Commission (EC) has to submit a mid-term evaluation of the Fund.

The EC has organised an open public consultation through the completion of an online questionnaire.

All organisations are welcome to contribute to this consultation. Contributions are particularly sought from stakeholders like yourselves directly involved in the roll out of FEAD.

Feedback by you will enhance quality of the mid-term evaluation that will assist discussions for any changes in the current and the next programming period. Survey results will be used in aggregate form.

The survey will remain open until May 5th 2017
