Closing Event for Ireland’s National Programme: Social Inclusion Forum.
3 November – Seminar on the role of social indicators in policy-making: national and European perspectives. Organised by the Social Inclusion Division, the Economic and Social Research Institute, and UCD Social Science Research Centre. The purpose of the seminar is to consider the role of social indicators in policy-making, drawing in particular on poverty experience, but also other policy contexts.

Other events
A range of other events will be organised throughout the country, during the year. These will include onceoff events and initiatives organised by anti-poverty groups and organisations, who will undertake work at national or local level to promote awareness of poverty and social inclusion.
