Maximum Personal Rate Aged 20 or over: €204.30
Increases:
- Increase for a Qualified Adult: €135.60
- Each Qualified Child: €26.00
Maximum personal rate where claimant is aged under 20 years: €100.00 (See Note 1)
Increases:
- Increase for Qualified Adult: €100.00
Under 20 rate for Supplementary Welfare Allowance
Persons not affected:
- People who have been in continuous receipt of the allowance from a date on or before 29 April 2009,
- Certain people who were in the care of the HSE during the period of 12 months before he or she attained the age of 18.
Note 1:
If the person claiming is receiving an increase for a qualified child or is participating in certain education courses the reduced rate does not apply.
