You get Domiciliary Care Allowance on the third Tuesday of every month by:
- social services card at your local post office, or
- direct payment into an account in a financial institution or an An Post Childcare Savings Account in:
- your own name, or
- the name of:
- you and your spouse or partner,
- you and your child(ren),
- your spouse or partner and your child(ren),
- your child(ren) only, or
- your spouse or partner only.
