The following are some items that do not count as means:
- your own home,
- Supplementary Welfare Allowance or Rent or Mortgage Interest Supplement,
- Family Income Supplement,
- Child Benefit,
- Illness Benefit,
- Jobseeker's Benefit and
- your contributions to Personal Retirement Savings Account(s) (PRSAs).
