There is no application form for the Employers' PRSI Exemption Scheme. If an employee is awarded the Back to Work Allowance for the first time (re-starts do not apply) an exemption is granted, subject to the employer submitting a current Tax Clearance Certificate or C2 Card. The exemption Certificate is sent to the employer stating the employers name and Registered Number, the employee's name, Personal Public Service Number and the period of exemption.
