Employment Services & Employment Programmes
Employment Services supports access to the labour market for jobseekers at local, regional and national level and assists employers who are seeking to fill job vacancies. Employment Service is delivered by the National Employment Service (NES) which operates nationally through 63 local Employment Service offices and Local Employment Service offices (LES) which operate in 24 designated areas of disadvantage and provides a fully integrated nationwide range of services and supports.
Jobs Ireland (National Contact Centre)
Jobs Ireland is an online marketplace where Jobseekers and Employers can find information and profiles about prospective jobs, JobBridge internship opportunities, WPP opportunities and CE vacancies and staff in Ireland and across Europe. Jobs Ireland also provides a database of Training courses to suit all needs.
Jobs Ireland can be accessed easily and in a number of ways – through the Internet (Jobseeker and Employer), at special touch screen (WATIS) kiosks in our offices nationwide, using the jobseekers app, or via the free phone service (1800 611 116).
Employers wishing to use the system must register by contacting the National Contact Centre - Jobs Ireland at free phone 1800 611 116. Employers can upload their Company Profile and/or Job Vacancies once registered.
The National Contact Centre Jobs Ireland also offers a national service to Job Seekers/Job Changers at free phone 1800 611 116. The NCC service allows our registered Job Seekers/Job Changers to call and get up-to-date advice on current job vacancies, career and/or course information.
Employment Programmes provides a range of services in co-operation with different community groups. These consist of employment and development programmes that focus on the integration/re-integration into the labour market of long-term unemployed and other marginalised people.
